Nature Society Singapore

Nature Society Singapore aims to identify the plants and animals in Singapore most vulnerable to climate change, and take action towards making Singapore well-placed to attain targets agreed upon by the international community (the 2020 Aichi Biodiversity Targets), particularly those linked most closely to addressing the drivers of climate change.

  • highlight the threat of climate change to plants and animals at each of our activities, talks, and public forums
  • assess the impacts of a changing climate on Singapore's natural heritage through careful monitoring
  • redouble our efforts, in collaboration with partner NGOs and community groups, to show how taking action on climate change is equally beneficial for nature as it is for people - and to seek concrete steps in taking action together on climate change
