NUS SAVE (Students Against Violation of the Earth) works with the students and staff of NUS to advocate for NUS to be a model for sustainability and action against climate change.

Advocacy projects include campaigns such as the Plastic Bag Tax scheme on campus as well as an annual event NUS Goes Lite that raises awareness of sustainable living and encourages students and staff to reduce their ecological footprint through their daily activities.

Other campaigns include Save3s, Green Canteens, Green Wardrobes, and Sustainable Energy. The Save3s project aims to improve campus greenery and champion botanical knowledge  through guided nature walks and tree planting initiatives. The Green Wardrobes campaign aims to provide the NUS population with an avenue for recycling old and unwanted clothes, and encourage a reduction in clothes consumption.
