Food security is achieved when all people have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for a healthy life. Food security is becoming an important topic in recent years due to reduced agricultural productivity caused by climate change, explosive growth of the middle class in Asia and the resulting spike in food consumption, as well as unpredictable geo-politics and international relations.
Foodscape is a collective that connects people across our local foodscape, empower individuals with skills and knowledge, and support projects / initiatives that make for a more compassionate food system that is good for our environment and people.
GUI aims to build up the Kampung Kampus to showcase best practices in sustainable living for Singapore, and nurture a conscious community with hearts, minds and hands focused on a humane and sustainable future.
The Food Bank aims to reduce food wastage and bring fresh produce to the less fortunate.
Center for a Responsible Future hopes to extend EarthFest to daily life, by encouraging people to take individual actions on a daily basis.
